Patricia Maxwell, 83, of Doylestown, Pa., formerly of Greensboro, N.C., Blowing Rock, N.C., and Wildwood, Fla., passed away Monday, June 9, 2008.

Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, September 20, at Westminster Gardens, 3601 Whitehurst Dr., Greensboro, N.C.

Patricia was born in W. Palm Beach, Fla., to Thomas E. Newell and Cora M. Davis.

She was married to the late Shelby M. Maxwell for 32 years.

Patricia graduated from high school in Vineland, New Jersey. She was the head secretary at Palm Beach Private School in the 1950's and early 60's. Patricia was an avid golfer and bridge player and was a member of Dolyestown United Methodist Church. She was a devoted wife and mother who maintained lifelong friendships with people she met throughout her life's journey.

Survivors include three sons, Alan Link, Dale Link, and Shelby Maxwell, Jr.; one daughter, Mary Jo Buckwalter and her husband, Jeffrey Buckwalter; grandchildren, Shelby B. Coyne and Jeffrey Buckwalter, Jr.

The family will receive friends after the burial.

Russell "Alan" Link, age 69, of Lake Worth, passed away on June 14, 2013. He was a graduate of Forest Hill High School in West Palm Beach and served six years in the United States Marine Corps as a sergeant. A lifelong resident of West Palm Beach, he was an electrical contractor working throughout Palm Beach County. A Celebration of Alan's life will be held Sunday July 14 from 1:00PM - 3:00PM at Trinity Park, South Flagler Dr, West Palm Beach (located where the old "Hut" was, between Trump Towers and Phillips Point). Burial will take place with military honors on Monday July 15, 10:00AM at the South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 State Road 7, Lake Worth (Lane 3).
