Edgar Neil Rikard, 61, died June 15, 1982 at the Itawamba County Hospital. He was a farmer, a retired employee of Day Brite, and served in World War II. He was a member of Fulton Church of Christ. Services were June 17 at Senter Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Itawamba Memorial Gardens.

Survivors included his wife, Mrs. Frances Rikard of Nettleton; two sons, Dwight Rikard of Fulton and Dale Rickard of Nettleton; one daughter, Mrs. Lynda Davis of Wilsonville, Ala.; two sisters, Mrs. Ester Guntharp of Pontotoc and Mrs. Effie Davis of Waukegan, Ill.; four grandchildren.
